Last night Mike and I decorated the Christmas Tree. It looked so cute. This morning when I got up I went to look for Puma and this is what I found...
She thinks that the Christmas Tree was her personal Jungle Gym! Oh, I just LOVE that kitty!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend
Mike and I went to Cedar City for the weekend of Thanksgiving. We stayed with Ben and Jessica. It was so much fun! We had a huge Thanksgiving dinner. There was about 43 family members there. It was amazing. It is so fun to have a big family. Dinner was so tasty and then there was a family talent show. I married into a very talented family! Everyone was so great! Then we went to see Four Christmases. We had such a fun weekend! I am so grateful for Holidays because they bring family together.

My appendix tried to kill me!
Caution: Do not read the following if you have a weak stomach!!!
About 2 weeks ago I woke feeling really sick. I thought I had food poisoning or something of that sort. So I decided to take some Tums to help calm the inferno in my stomach. It didn't help so I thought I just need to get whatever is in my stomach out so I made myself throw up (which I normally avoid at all cost). Well, to my disappointment it didn't help. In fact it got much worse minutes after. The pain just kept increasing and no matter what I did I couldn't get any relief. I called Mike and asked him what he thought I should do. He told me to call his friends dad (who is a Dr.) and tell him my symptoms and find out what he thought. He told me to take two Prilosec and if I was still in pain in an hour I should go to the emergency room. So I called Mike back and told him what I needed to do but I didn't have any Prilosec and I was in way too much pain to drive. So, my sweet husband left work and came to my rescue with the medicine I needed. In the mean time while I was waiting for him to get home, I threw up all over myself and the bed. I was in too much pain and too weak to do anything so I rolled myself off the bed and laid on the ground. When Mike came home he was so surprised that I had left the bed such a mess because I am such a clean freak. That is when I think he realized how much I was in pain. So he gave me some medicine and started to clean up my mess. Then my pain became too much to bare. I also felt like my stomach was swollen so I asked Mike to come look at it and see if it was. Mike took one look at my stomach and said we need to get to the ER now. He said that it looked like there was a soft ball in my stomach. The ride to the ER hurt so much. Every bump and curve made me feel like my stomach was going to explode. When we got to the ER I couldn't even stand. A nurse saw Mike and I and brought us a wheel chair. I wasn't in the ER more than I minute when I threw up in their waiting room trash can. If I wasn't in so much pain I would have been so embarrassed. They got me into a room and hooked me up to IVs right away. It was instant relief!!! The doctor came in and started asking me questions and felt my stomach to find out exactly where I was in pain. He said that is sounded like it was my appendix. So he set up a CT scan. When I got back to my room after the CT I started getting nervous. I was afraid that I was just weak and that my pain wasn't as bad as I thought. That is when the doctor came in and said that it indeed was my appendix and that the surgeon would be there soon to talk to me. Within about 30 or so minutes I was being wheeled in for surgery. The last thing I remembered was the anesthesiologist saying that I was going to get a little drowsy. Next thing I knew (which felt like 10 minutes) I was being rolled through the Hospital and my throat and stomach were in pain. They rolled me into a room gave me some IVs again! Yay! Then they brought in Mike and Ashley Giddings to see me. It was so nice to have them there to be there for me. I told them my belly button hurt and I didn't know why. Mike started laughing and said that it was because I had a hole under my belly button and he showed it to me. I started to laugh a little and realized quickly that that hurt! Then Mike and Paul Giddings gave me a blessing. I can't even express my gratitude to have a loving husband and such amazing friends that were there for me. We stayed at the hospital a little longer and then I was released. Mike and I went home and Ashley and Paul followed shortly with dinner for us. The next few days I couldn't do anything with out help. Thanks to such wonderful friends Mike and were taken care of. They were there for me to help me during the day while Mike was at work and they brought us dinner too. Thank you for all your help, Ashley & Paul Giddings, Todd & Sienna Jepperson and Ryan & Danielle Mahoney! I really appreciate your love and kindness!

Dr. House is in the House!
Mike and I went to Ryan and Danielle's annual Halloween Party. We look forward to it every year! I used to hate Halloween. I thought it was the silliest holiday ever but now that we have their fun Halloween Party I like it! Anyways, we decided to dress up as Dr. House nand Dr. Cuddy from the TV show "House". Mike truly became Dr. House. He had the limp down perfect! He loved his cane too! We had such a fun time! They had the most delicious soups ever and fun games. There was bobbing for apples, fear factor, and "Don't forget the Lyrics". It was so much fun!!! Hope everyone else had a Happy Halloween!!!

Creepy Puma Pumpkin
Mike and I carved a pumpkin last night. It was so much fun. As I was looking online at all the different designs it became clear to me what I needed to carve. Puma!!! I printed out the picture I wanted and we named the pumpkin Creepy Puma! Puma was very intrigued by the pumpkin. She tried to go inside of it, sniff it and even tried eating it. I think she decided she didn't care for the taste of pumpkin.

Puma's Friend
One of our Sales Reps had a customer that had to cancel because she couldn't get out of her old contract with another company. Well, she felt so bad for cancelling that she gave him one of her puppies. We decided to introduce his dog to Puma. And to our surprise Puma really liked him! She was so sad that things didn't work out for the dog to stay. Everyday since the day she met the dog she goes to our sliding glass door to play with her friend and she always seems so disappointed that he is gone! Here are some pictures of their blooming friendship!

Our Pride and Joy "Baby Puma"
We had a friend that could not keep her kitten Puma anymore and I fell in love with her the moment I held her! Let me just tell you, Michael and I are NOT cat people! In fact we have had conversations about how we both agree that we would NEVER have a cat. Well, I really learned "never say never"! When Michael got home from work I tested the waters. I asked him if he would ever consider having the BEST cat in the world. He shot me down instantly! Anyone that know me, know that I can be VERY stubborn when I really want to. Well, I persisted. Somehow I got him to agree on a trial run for the night. We picked Puma up and took her to my mom's house. I had a little chit-chat with Puma in the car. I told her that she had to work really hard to win Mike over. I think she understood my completely! When we got my mom's house Puma jumped onto Michael's lap and cuddled up to him the entire time. He fell in love with her too! She is the sweetest and friendliest cat ever! I have really enjoyed having her. She has really helped my need to nurture.

Dance Party
Every day at the end of Correlation they have a Dance Party. There is a Dance Party Leader. The dance party leader chooses the song and then everyone has to copy their dance moves. It is pretty entertaining!
This Summer means Business!
I decided that since I never have anything new to blog about (because my days all seem to be the same thing) I would do a slideshow of what is taking up so much of my time! This is a sneak peak of what our mornings consist of! Hope you enjoy!!!

Michael's Birthday Weekend!
Mike's birthday was great! I started out the morning by sending Mike on a scavenger hunt around the apartment to find his gift. Then I made him french toast for breakfast. It was such a nice morning. Then Mike and I went to work. After work we went to Claim Jumper with Patrick, Ryan W., Ashley, Paul, Brooklynn, Jess & Ryan. It was so much fun. The food was great! Then on Sunday we had a birthday party with my family at my mom's house. We had such a good time. Mike got to have his traditional birthday cake (Oatmeal Spice) which I think was his favorite part of his entire birthday! It was the best weekend ever! Enjoy the pictures!!!

Our night out with Celebrities
Mike and I don't get out very much because we are working so much this summer but we did manage to go see the new Indiana Jones movie. While we were at the theater we were able to meet some pretty big celebrities! They were so kind to let us take pictures with them. Mike met The Hulk and I met Patrick Dempsey! Just kidding!!! We wish! Anyways, we had a good time at the movie even though I was so tired that I slept through the first hour and a half of the movie! It was a nice date night.

A Blogger's Gide
I have had a lot of friends ask me how to do things on their blog like change the layout, add pictures, music, add slideshow/videos, ect. So I decided to start another blog to help anyone that has any questions. The site is: http://www.help-u-blog.blogspot.com/. Feel free to comment and ask any questions you might have. I want to be able to help as much as I can. The blogging world is so much fun but can get very frustrating at times.
What I have been up to and Happy Birthday to many family members!
If you read my blog about my last day at Choicepoint I wrote about how I had so much free time and that I didn't know what to do with it. Well, I ended up being busier than I thought I would be. I tried a few new recipes, spent some quality time with Mike, helped Ashley with little baby Brooklynn and getting packed and ready for all of us to move down to California. Paking a house with a three month old is a little more complicated than when it is just you. It has been a fun past two weeks. I am really excited to drive down to California tomorrow to start my new job and of course to be closer to my family! I can't wait to see everyone. Plus, it will be really fun to be with everyone for all the birthdays. Brianne's birthday is tomorrow on April 25th, my dad and my step sister Aeryka's are both on April 30th, mine is the next day on May 1st, my step-sister Becca's is May 7th, Lance's is on May 11th and my mom's is the next day on May 12th. So we will have a few weeks of celebration. Not to mention Mother's Day is on Lance's birthday, May 11th!

"The Davids" on American Idol

My Last Day at Choicepoint
My Cubicle before I packed up.
My last day was bitter-sweet. I am glad to have a little time off before I move down to California for my summer job. However, I have really enjoyed working at Choicepoint. I have made some good friends that were hard to leave behind. I have learned a lot working there. I have learned how to use different computer programs and also about Star Trek! (that's for you Christine) I found it a lot harder to leave than I had planned on. I loved my little cubicle as well. I have posted my before and after shot of my cube. I have also realized that I don't know what to do with all my extra time. On Monday I had all my laundry done by noon and didn't have a clue what to do after that. So I read some of my book for a little while. Then, luckily, Ashley needed some help with Brooklynn while she took her dad to the airport. While Brooklynn was sleeping I decided to try a new recipe for dinner. We had homemade Chicken Alfredo. It was a success. Today, I have not done one productive thing. I feel like such a slacker! I am however going to go to the grocery store and make dinner as soon as I am done with this blog. Tonight we are having homemade French Bread Pizza. It will be yummy as always! Well, I better get to the store but if anyone has any good ideas on what to do with free time (that is productive) let me know!
