Baby Girl

My mom, Lance and I went to a place in Murrieta today so they could see baby girl on an ultrasound. It was so much fun. Lance had given me some sour gummy bears before the ultra sound and wow, was my little girl active or what! She was all over the place. The ultrasound tech was so surprised at how busy my little girl is. I am so excited for her to join our family. She was so cute during the ultrasound! I could not be happier about having both a son and a daughter. Here are a few pictures from today:

We are having...

A GIRL!!!!

We are so excited to have our little girl join our family in may! It is fun to teach James that he is going to have a baby sister soon. It has also been a big step in helping me connect & believe that this pregnancy is real! I have felt very guilty because I felt so connected to to James very early in my pregnancy with him but have not felt that way this time. A big part of my late connection is that I didn't want to get my hopes up. This pregnancy happened so much easier than it did with James that it felt too good to be true. But my excitement and connection is growing every day now. I am excited about buying girl stuff, my belly is starting to grow more and more each day & the past few days I have felt her moving around. Feeling her movements have been so exciting! It is little reminders that she is there and connected to me. I can't wait for Mike & James to feel her move too. James is already starting to notice changes. Every since my belly popped out James will stick his tummy out and laugh! It is so cute!!! I am excited that James will have a little sister and that she will have him to look after her and protect her! I will post belly pictures soon!

Snow Day!

This morning when I woke up I noticed that we finally got the storm the weather man has been promising! I was so excited so I got James all suited up in his snow clothes & took him out to play! This was his first time playing in the snow. He kept taking off his gloves so he learned the hard way about how freezing your hands get when you play in snow without gloves! It was fun to watch him play and figure out what this "white stuff" was and why it was falling from the sky! He kept looking up to watch the snow fall but then it would get in his eye so he would look away! We had so much fun and I know there are more fun snowy days ahead of us! I can't wait to take him sledding!!!

Park Time

The other day my sister in law Sarah let me borrow her awesome camera so James and I went to the park & I took some pictures of my handsome boy!

He wanted the camera

My Toothbrush!

So James' favorite thing to play with is MY toothbrush- not his or Mike's... mine! So I had to get another one since he officially took over mine.

But how can you be upset at this cute little face...

This picture has nothing to do with the toothbrush. It was just
taken the same morning & I like it!

P.S. Aren't his pajamas so darn cute! They say "Saving the World before Bedtime"

Halloween 2010

Our little monkey was so darn cute! James loved trick or treating! It was fun to watch him go from door to door. He couldn't say trick or treat but it didn't matter to anyone! I was nervous that he wasn't going to be able to trick or treat because it was pouring rain but finally at 7pm the rain stopped!!! Yay!!! I had already given up on trick or treating & dressing him up but when I heard all the other trick or treaters outside I quickly got James dressed and we were out the door so fast! Luckily, we had our very own paparazzi (Aunt Sarah) with us & got some great pictures from the night!

Hope everyone had a fun & safe Halloween!!!

James's 1st Birthday

James' first birthday was so much fun! We started with a Mickey Mouse, chocolate chip pancakes with banana eyes, strawberry nose & whipped cream mouth. James loved it! The night before his birthday I blew up a bunch of balloons and threw them all over the living room floor. So, when he woke up he walked out to a ton of balloons to play with. He wasn't sure about it at first but ended up loving the balloons! After breakfast he opened up his present from Mike and I, played a little bit and then went down for his nap.

After James' nap we went to the Hogal Zoo in Salt Lake. Unfortunately, Mike had to go to work and missed out on the zoo. But Uncle Lance, Cousin Courtney and Uncle Rob joined us. We all had a good time. James loved the animals & wanted to be Mr. Independent by walking by himself everywhere. He didn't want to be held or sit in the stroller.

Pictures from his party will be here soon!
