The past two weeks have been exhausting for me. I have had my normal 8 hours a day work and then on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday I have had an extra 4 hours (each day) of training for my new job that I will be doing in the summer. The training has gone well and I feel like I am catching on pretty well but it is a lot of information! My brain is on information overload! Anyways, the past few nights I have been coughing a lot. At about four this morning I was coughing really hard so Mike got up and got me some cough syrup. I was so out of it that when I went to get up to take it I knocked the cough syrup out of Mike's hands and it went EVERYWHERE! I was so tired and could hardly function. I started to get emotional (that is what I do when I am over tired and not feeling well) and I pretty much useless at helping clean up. While Mike was cleaning everything up I poured some more cough syrup and took it. A few minutes later I felt so sick and nauseous. I was so frustrated but Mike was so patient with me. He cleaned up all the syrup without any complaining. He called and left a message for my work letting them know that I would be coming in a little late because I desperately needed some sleep, he reset the alarm so I could sleep in a little longer, and then he put a clean sheet on the bed and cuddled with me until we both fell asleep. I can't even express how grateful I am to be married to a man that is so kind and loving. He didn't get frustrated with me or even get mad at me for spilling the cough syrup everywhere. I am lucky to have such a patient and sweet man by my side. I am also glad that I got to sleep in this morning!

Tagged! About Me.....
10 years ago......I was in the middle of 8th grade, getting excited to become a high schooler. I was at that awkward, hideous stage in my life. I despise all pictures that came from that time! 1. Set up a non-profit organization to find the cure for Crohns.
2. Buy some land so that we can have a farm & a garden
3. Travel the world
4. Start a home for Single mom's so they can go to school and be able to take care of their family with out feeling alone and overwhelmed.
5. Start a scholarship foundation for families that have little means, and kids that work hard but struggle in school can still get an education! I would start working with them in High School so that they can have hope for the future.
5 things people don't know about me..........
1. I am really shy
2. I used to dream about being an Olympic Gymnast and winning the Gold Medal.

Church Music
I have added some church music to my blog now. If you would rather listen to that, then pause the music that is at the top and then scroll down to the bottom and push play on my church music player! It was really hard to find church music, given the fact that all the music comes from a non-LDS web site. However, I searched really hard to find some good church music. Hope you enjoy!!!

Happy Late Easter!
Artwork By: Adrian Ropp
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter since I never got around to doing it on Easter ! I thought the bunny was a cute picture. But the true meaning of Easter gets lost at times with cute pictures of bunnies and excitement of Easter Baskets. It is a time to remember our Savior and his Life and Resurection. I love that Easter comes in the spring. It is a feeling of new beginnings and of a beautiful change. The snow melts and the flowers and trees bloom and become beautiful again. In a sense it is like the Earth becomes Resurected as well. I never really noticed that change since I had lived in California most my life. But being here in Utah and seeing how the Earth changes and becomes so colorful and beautiful, it really makes me realize how significant it is that we we celebrate Christ's Resurection in the spring. I am grateful that I have the knowledge of our Savior's life. I know he lived, that he lived a life so that we can have an example of how we should live so that we can return to live with him and our Father in Heaven again someday, I know that he tought us by example the importance of baptism and dedicating your life to Heavenly Father, I know that he bore the burden of all our sins, and that he died and was resurected. I know that if we live like Him we will be able to stand before our Heavenly Father with confidance, clean hands and a pure heart.
Sarah's Mission Call
My sister in law finally got her long awaited mission call. She has been called to the Boise, Idaho mission. I am really excited for her. I know that the Singles Ward movie pokes fun of that mission but I think it is a great mission! When Mike and I visited after finding out about her mission call, we talked about how the Lord has a plan and I think that it will be the perfect mission for Sarah! I am so happy for her and I can't wait to receive letters and pictures from her when she gets out there. As she throws all she has into the Lord's work it will be exciteing to hear of her experiances and watch her testimony grow even more! When Sarah puts her mind to something she is unstoppable! She is going to be such a blessing to the people of Boise, Idaho! Good Luck Sarah! Mike and I are so proud of you and excited to see you grow and become an amazing missionary!!! We love you!!!
Trace Adkins

I have to admit that I have been sucked into watching The Celebrity Apprentice. I have been so impressed with Trace Adkins on the show. He is such a great family man. At the last show he performed his song "You're Gonna Miss That". I have heard this song many times but it has never hit me emotionally like it did today. I want to share the lyric to the song with you.
You're Gonna Miss This
She was staring out the window of that SUV Complaning, saying "I can't wait to turn 18" She said "I'll make my own money, and I'll make my own rules" Mamma put the car in park out there in front of the school Then she kissed her head and said "I was just like you" You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast These are some good times So take a good look around You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this Before she knows it she's a brand new bride In a one-bedroom apartment, and her daddy stops by He tells her "It's a nice place" She says "It'll do for now" Starts talking about babies and buying a house Daddy shakes his head and says "Baby, just slow down" Cause you're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast These are some good times So take a good look around You may not know it now
Five years later there's a plumber workin' on the water heater Dog's barkin', phone's ringin' One kid's cryin', one kid's screamin' She keeps apologizin' He says "They don't bother me. I've got 2 babies of my own. One's 36, one's 23. Huh, it's hard to believe, but ... You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast These are some good times So take a good look around You may not know it now But you're gonna miss this"
I will be the first to admit that I am always wishing for things to change and for things to get better. However, that song really touched me and I want to change that mind set. I want to enjoy each moment as it comes. I don't want to miss anything. I know that the Lord has been blessing Mike and I so much and I don't feel that I have appreciated like I should. I am changing my ways and I am going to enjoy life as it comes! I have added his performance to my blog as well. If you get a chance, check it out. He is such a great singer and you can feel the emotion as he sings the song. Enjoy!!!

Our long night in the ER

Mike's pain from his Crohn's has gotten increasingly worse. I have been worried about him along with anyone that has seen how frail he has been looking. So we finally went to the ER. I am so glad that we did. We went to the new Intermountain Health Care Center in Murray, Utah (It used to be Cottonwood Hospital, until they rebuilt it and changed everything). It was such a nice hospital. They gave Mike some medication to help him through this never ending flare-up. The doctor's and nurses were great. They were so much help and so kind. It was a better experiance than the last time I took him to the ER about two years ago. The first time I took him to the ER it seemed like they didn't care very much about helping him. It was a "get him, get him out" mentality. However, this time it was great. They really took their time with Mike. They did a lot more tests and made sure that he was hydrated and had the things he needed to feel better. They were excellent. The only bummer is that we were there all night and I only was able to squeeze in a few hours of sleep before I had to go to work. Even though I didn't get all the sleep I would have liked, I was glad that I was able to be there for Mike and be able to spend time with him. He is doing a lot better and I have faith that his health will finally improve. Thank you to everyone that has kept him in their thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate it!!!
